What system of record does Ref&Go replace?

None by default. Ref&Go coordinates the reference workflow around existing employer processes and can sync through API keys, signed webhooks, ATS adapters, Teams, Slack, email, SMS, and reports.

Does Ref&Go make hiring decisions?

No. Ref&Go collects, normalizes, and organizes reference evidence for human review. The employer remains responsible for hiring decisions.

What data is processed?

Employer workspace settings, candidate contact and authorization records, reference contact and response records, channel history, consent records, audit events, report shares, and usage/billing records.

Can we start without live SMS or payment wiring?

Yes for demos and controlled design pilots. Outbox communications and local billing prove the workflow without external provider accounts. Live business pilots should wire production email/SMS before relying on automated outreach.

What proves the pilot worked?

The first gate is 70%+ completed candidate checks with zero employer follow-up, plus usable human-reviewed reports and no charging of applicants or references.
